Bidvine Review: Available Services

I was amazed at the range of professional services available through Bidvine. If you want to learn an instrument, you’re likely to find a teacher through Bidvine. Fancy learning a foreign language? Bidvine have you covered. Want to take up dance lessons? There are a range of styles to choose from. But Bidvine isn’t just for lessons. You’ll find cleaners, removal professionals, professionals to carry out home improvements & more on Bidvine.

I decided to request quotes for a photographer. The only time I’ve worked with a photographer was for mine & Dan’s wedding. It was a fantastic experience & I was interested to find out whether hiring a photographer for taking outfit photos for my blog would be a viable option for the future (once PIP is sorted!). At the moment, I can only shoot outfit shots in my back garden. I don’t have someone available to take photos for me & I can’t wheel myself, my camera & my tripod to be able to take advantage of different locations.

With my photosensitivity, flash photography is not an option. So I also felt that requesting quotes for a photographer would give me a good idea of the professionalism & understanding of medical conditions that people can expect from Bidvine professionals.

Bidvine Review: Submitting A Quote

I found the process of submitting a quote easy. I was also very pleased to see that this is set up as black text on a white background. This is ideal for me, as anything else interferes with the way my precision tinted lenses work.

Getting started is easy, just type in the professional you are looking for & enter your postcode! Bidvine will then ask you a few questions to make sure you get the most appropriate professionals submitting you quotes. The website is really easy to use & there’s a live chat available if you need help at any point.

There’s also a brilliant app to help you manage your quotes on the go. I found this really easy to use. Often I have to spend some time getting used to the layout of apps, but not with the Bidvine app!

There were a few different types of photographer available, so I submitted my quote for a portrait photographer. I was asked questions such as “What type of portrait do you need?” “Where will these photos be taken?” What style of images are you looking for?” Each question has tick box options for you to choose from. I was really impressed that the last part of the submission process allows you to add any additional information that you wish to make the professional aware of. This was where I added some information about my basilar type migraine & the difficulty I have with flash photography.

Bidvine Review: Professionals’ Quotes

Once you place your request for a professional, you’ll receive five quotes. I was impressed with how quickly these came in. I was also thrilled to see that each of the professionals were quoting within the budget I had set. I’m sure quite a few people will understand the frustration of speaking to a professional, who tries to up sell & get you to buy something out of your budget. I’ve certainly had this with wedding dress shopping. I also taught in a music shop who would recommend the instrument next up in price from the top end of the customer’s budget. Though I had no affiliation with the shop itself, I still felt uncomfortable that this was going on.

Out of the five quotes, three were of an excellent standard. The had a friendly & professional tone to them & gave me a lot of information about what the photographer could offer me & the cost. They referred to location options, outfit changes & the options for images once the shoot had taken place. These photographers reassured me that flash photography would not be necessary. This was something extremely important to me. They also included links to their websites so that I could view their previous work. Something extremely important when hiring a photographer. I would’ve happily hired any one of these three photographers.

One of the quotes was short & sweet. There was nothing wrong with it, but it didn’t give me much to go on. It was made up of a single sentence, a link to a Facebook page & a link to the photographer’s website.

Unfortunately, one of the quotes wasn’t great. He lost me on the first sentence by writng “I’m a professional photographer” twice, as well as “I can do this.” This left me wondering who he was trying to convince, me or himself? His quote also lacked the use of proper punctuation. I’m sure the man in question is a fine photographer, but he won’t get many people hiring him until he sorts out the quality of his quotes. He did refer to my issue with flash photography & offered a solution, which was great & something I really appreciated. Unfortunately, his grammar again let this down. I initially read “it does to flash” as “It does flash.” However I think it was supposed to say “It does not flash.”

But this is the beauty of Bidvine. If you receive a quote that you don’t think is suitable, for what ever reason, you still have four others to choose from!

At the end of each quote you receive, there is the option to reply. This allows you to ask any additional questions. You can also phone the professional if you would prefer to speak to them. The other option at the bottom of the quote is “Hire this pro.” It’s as simple as that! Once you’ve decided which of the four professionals you would like, just click this button!

Bidvine Review: Who Would Benefit From Bidvine?

Bidvine Review

Bidvine is a fantastic platform for people wanting to find a local professional with ease. Because Bidvine covers so many different areas, you’ll only ever need to reference the one website! This is great for those of us who’s memories aren’t so great (damn you chronic illness!) because you just have to remember one place for everything you could need!

Bidvine is also a great platform for professionals seeking work. I’m a woodwind teacher & can see Bidvine being a great way to gain more students when I’m well enough to expand my teaching. Dan & are currently on a music specific site where students can search for suitable teachers. More than half of our students have come from this website, so I know the power of websites such as Bidvine for gaining new clients.

Once PIP is sorted, I’ll be using Bidvine to find a yoga teacher. I’m self taught, but would like some professional guidance & input on my practice. I’ve also seen that Bidvine have professionals who teach sign language. You may remember from my My 2016 Goals & Aims post that I would like to learn sign language, to help me get a job as a Learning Support Assistant in the future.

I hope my Bidvine review was helpful. Have you tried Bidvine? How did you get on with it?
