IT”S DECEMBER!!!!!!!! Can you tell I’m excited for Christmas? From now until the 26th all of my posts will be Christmas themed & I can’t wait to share them with you! So I thought I would kick off by sharing with you my top 5 drugstore Christmas nail polishes. I haven’t spoken about nail polish on my blog before, as I really struggle to find products that don’t chip within 24 hours. I really make the effort to paint my nails at Christmas time with festive colours though so this is the perfect time for my first post on the subject!
Barry M Glitter Nail Paint in 355 Gold Mine Glitter £2.99
This shade is ideal for those who don’t an obviously Christmas colour but still want a festive feel. It reminds me of the night’s sky, lit up with stars.
Barry M Nail Paint Foil Effects in 320
You can’t go wrong with a bit of good at Christmas & I love the effect this polish gives. Plus it looks great with a glitter top coat! Unfortunately Barry M don’t seem to have this shade available any more.
Maybelline Forever Strong Polish in 06 Deep Red £4.49
I love red polish at Christmas & the Maybelline Forever Strong line is great quality. The formula is just right, not to thin, not to thick. I find Maybelline polishes some of the longest lasting formula on me, which is a huge bonus!
Essie Nail Polish in The Perfect Cover Up £7.99
The most expensive of the bunch, I love this green shade. Perfect if you want a darker colour for your nails but still want to keep that Christmas vibe! I love that this is a subtle green rather than a bright, in-your-face shade.
Barry M Glitter Nail Paint in 351 Yellow Topaz Glitter £2.99
Glitter is ideal for the festive period &, though I don’t get on particularly well with Barry M’s standard nail polishes, their glitters last really well on me & prolong the wear time of other matte polishes. This shade looks great on it’s own or on top of red or green for Christmas.
What are your favourite nail polishes for Christmas? Keep you eyes peeled for my top 5 salon polishes, up later this month.

Barry M, legit the queen (or king or princess) of glitter nail polishes. Such a variety of pretty colours to choose from, love them! I’m yet to try a Maybelline nail polish (I believe) but this red looks deep and true, need it! Can’t go wrong with red at Christmas, can you? xx

Love all of these! Have you ever tried Avon nail varnish? I love theirs and it’s such a good price :-) xx

I haven’t, I’ve a feeling they use citric acid in their polishes, which I try to avoid as it sets my eczema off. Xx

Barry M is just king of nail polishes. I am obsessed with the limited edition red glitter gelly one they had in superdrug. I cant remember what its called but its so Christmasy and sparkly

I need to check that one out! Unfortunately, I haven’t found Barry M to have any kin of longevity on me, but then not a lot does! Xx
