GOSH Lumidrops Illuminating Blush Review

Who doesn’t love switching their makeup up for spring and summer? Lighter formulas and softer and/or warmer shades are what I’m all about for spring and summer, as well as a thick layer of sunscreen. New seasonal beauty launches are something I always find exciting and GOSH have got some real gems in their 2017 collection! One of my favourites from the collection is the GOSH Lumidrops Illuminating Blush. Want to know why? Keep reading!

Last year, GOSH launched their Lumidrops highlighter and by all accounts they were a big hit. So this year, the Lumidrops range was extended with Illuminating Blushes in two shades, Rose Blush and Coral Blush*. These two shades are beautiful and I particularly like Coral as a summer shade.

If a radiant glow is the look you’re going for then the GOSH Lumidrops Illuminating Blush is just the product for you! The light reflecting pigments in the blusher are incredibly fine, giving a beautiful sheen to the skin rather than visible glitter on the face. The blusher shade is sheer but can be built up easily and gives the most beautiful glow. The blusher is easy to dispense from the dropper, has a lightweight feel and blends beautifully.

When I initially applied the GOSH Lumidrops Illuminating Blush, I got a lovely cooling sensation on my cheeks that lasted about 10 minutes. I love this feature of the blush! My PoTS is significantly affected by the heat, so anything that helps cool me down in the summer is a good thing. While the cooling sensation doesn’t last forever, if I apply the blush early on in my routine it will help me manage my symptoms. This will hopefully help me avoid palpitations that become so strong I end up stabbing myself in the eye with my mascara wand (true story).

Blended out

The GOSH Lumidrops Illuminating Blush is perfume and paraben free, as well as being vegan friendly. You get 15ml of product per blusher.

I had it in my head that I was allergic to one of the ingredients in these. However, I’ve checked the ingredients and it turns out I’m not. I think I’m having a dyslexic moment and muddling the Lumidrops and the Foundation Drops. So now I really want to pick up one (ok, all) of the highlighter Lumidrops.

The GOSH Lumidrops Illuminating Blush can be purchased for £8.99 from Superdrug and Superdrug.com.

    • Yes, definitely! Anything I wear (clothes, makeup, etc.) or anything I eat I have to check the ingredients of. Thank you so much! It’s a beautiful blusher. Xx

  1. I love the sound of the cooling effect. I’ve not tried anything from GOSH but this blush does look very pretty indeed and I do hear a lot of good things about them so maybe I need to give them a go xx

    • It really is! I love that it’s a subtle sheen rather than glittery. I’ve got my eye on their Lumi Drops highlighters, they look so pretty. Xx
