Blogmas Post Ideas

Are you doing Blogmas this year? Maybe you’re doing the 12 Days of Blogmas or want to give all your December posts a Christmas theme? If you’re struggling for want to blog about, I’ve put together a list of 24 Blogmas post ideas to get those creative juices flowing.

All these posts can be adapted to cover a more specific audience. For example, ‘create a gift guide’ could be 4 separate posts, one for women, one for men, one for kids and one for Secret Santas! Remember, if you want to take part in Blogmas but either don’t celebrate Christmas or run out of inspiration, your posts don’t have to be Christmas themed, so write what you want! Blogmas is supposed to be fun!

As I’m sure I have readers who don’t celebrate Christmas, I’d like to have a balance of Christmas and non-Christmas themed posts. So, I’m going to continue with my usual Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday posts (except today, obvs!) and add in Christmas related posts in between these. I hope you enjoy Blogmas!

Will you be doing Blogmas this year? Do you have any Blogmas post ideas I haven’t included?

  1. I love Christmas, but the idea of posting everyday for blogmas is a bit much for me. Glad to hear that you’re doing your usual schedule of blogging every other day though. I too want to have a balance of Christmas and non-Christmas related posts, since I have so much to write about and so many ideas flowing through my head~

    • I’m not surprised! I’m wondering whether it’s a good idea. I planned to have all of my posts scheduled by now. I wanted to write two every month this year. I only managed posts in January though! Oops. I wanted be all ready to go and take the majority of December off, but that’s clearly not going to happen! Haha

I love Christmas, but I think you can have too much of a good thing. Carrying on with my normal posting schedule seemed the ideal way to have the best of both worlds, as I know exactly what you mean about having lots of ideas! Xx

  2. I don’t tend to do ‘blooms’, but blog as usual and include Christmas themed posts or gifts. I may do a few this year though, the mind is full of ideas but you know only too well as a spoonie, the body won’t always comply! lol Good luck with yours, looking forward to reading when I can

    • Last year I decided to stick to my usual schedule but create Christmas content. That was a good middle ground for me. This year, I could do with the distraction to be honest! I’m similar, loads of ideas, but a body that doesn’t want to play ball. You’ve just reminded me that I had a post idea last night. Only problem is that I didn’t write it down and can’t remember it now! Oops. Xx
