Kiss False Eyelashes Review

It wasn’t until the lead up to my wedding that I started experimenting with false lashes. I really wanted something to help bring my eyes out from behind my precision tinted lenses, particularly for the wedding photos. The reason I hadn’t experimented sooner was because at the time, the majority of false lashes were just that. False looking. However, my wedding was just over 5 years ago, so I’ve had a chance to get used to false eyelashes. I’ve been able to try different brands & styles. Today, I’d like to share a review of Kiss false eyelashes * with you!

Ritzy lashes

I got to try two different styles of Kiss false eyelashes, Sultry & Ritzy. Sultry are what I would consider a more natural lash & Ritzy are more dramatic.

Ritzy lashes

I really enjoyed using both sets of Kiss false eyelashes. They have a tapered end to each lash, which gives a more natural look & blends well with my own lashes. I found both sets of lashes comfortable to wear. The Sultry lashes are marked on the packet as feeling like your own lashes. I can’t say I agree with this though, as I felt like I was wearing lashes. But I definitely found them extremely comfortable.

Ritzy lashes

I found the Kiss false eyelashes extremely easy to apply. The band is flexible & easy to manipulate, while the glue applicator is perfectly designed to avoid overloading the lashes with too much glue. This is something I’m often guilty of doing!

The Ritzy lashes are made with 100% natural hair. However, I didn’t notice this on the packet until after I’d applied the lashes. I’ve looked online, but I’m unable to find out the origin of the natural hair used. This worried me, as I’m very allergic to horse hair. But as I’m still here & haven’t had a trip to A&E, I don’t think that these lashes are horse hair. Either that, or it’s not the horse hair that I’m allergic to but something else horse related.

Sultry lashes

I love the look of both sets of kiss false eyelashes. They give a beautiful effect, without being over the top. I found I would benefit from trimming the Ritzy lashes, while the Sultry lashes were the perfect length for my eyes.

Sultry lashes

I found that the lashes came a little loose at the edges after a while. However, this is something that I’ve experienced every time I’ve worn false lashes. The only exception to this was my wedding day. I put so much glue on the lashes & applied them straight away, that I ended up removing some of my own lashes when I took the false set off at the end of the day. I wouldn’t advise this method of application! To get round lashes coming a little loose at the edges, I carry lash glue in my bag for touch ups.

Sultry lashes

My wedding day lashes were Eyelure’s 115 lashes. Unfortunately, these were created exclusively as a free gift with a magazine, so you can’t get them any more. So while they were available, I bought 3 magazines to have a few back ups! The Sultry lashes are very similar to the Eyelure 115 lashes. I’m thrilled that I finally have a daytime false eyelash that I can repurchase! I’ve been using my 115 lashes sparingly because I only have the 3 pairs. It’ll be nice to be able to wear them more & have a great replacement option once they’re no longer useable.
