NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser Review

I haven’t talked about a base product on my blog yet, patly because I don’t own many. There is one that I can’t rave about enough, so thought I would start with a review of my NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser!

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

The NARS Tinted Moisturiser comes in 11 different shades. I have Finland 1, the lightest & it’s perfect for my light, yellow toned skin. Finland is described as being a neutral tone, but personally I find it yellow toned so if you’ve got pink undertones I would definitely suggest swatching this before making a purchase. For reference, this tinted moisturiser blends perfectly with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla, which I will have a review of up soon. The swatches on my hand (pictured below) make the tinted moisturiser look WAY too yellow for me. My hands are pinker than my face – this is a prime example of why you should NEVER colour match foundation to your hands!

I prefer this tinted moisturiser to foundation. I only need a little coverage & don’t like anything too heavy feeling on my skin. The tinted moisturiser applies evenly & gives a healthy glow to the skin. In addition to looking lovely, it also contains SPF 30, so a great option for those wanting a lighter coverage for the summer! I like to apply with my fingers, as I find that using a brush enhances the dry flaky patches on my skin. It works nicely with a beauty blender too. I don’t use a primer when I wear this product, because I find I don’t need to. It lasts all day without one!

I must admit that I was a little disappointed when I bought this product. I’d been given a sample before it launched & the texture was different &, at least at the time, I preferred that of the sample. I’m not sure whether this was because my sample was a different shade, but I’m much happier now I’ve gotten over the initial (& probably uncalled for) disappointment.

  1. Wow you are so beautiful! I’ve never tried any Nars products before, I have no idea why? Every time I save my money I end up buying something cheaper along the way hahaa! I’ve tried some products where I’ve grown to love them but not initially!

    • Thank you so much Sally! I know that feeling well, there are so many tempting products out there. I can highly recommend the blushes, creamy concealer, tinted moisturiser & lipglosses if you do make a purchase. Xx

    • Thanks Tamsin! I’d love to try the Sheer Glow foundation. I do feel very lucky that my skin doesn’t need a lot of work in the base product department. Xx

  2. your skin looks amazing! I find that those kind of creams don’t do much for my skin, but I might check this one out. x

    • Thank you so much! I think it all depends on your skin type & what type of coverage you like, I’d definitely suggest trying it at a counter to see what you think! Xx
