Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Firming Q10

When the In Shower Body Moisturisers came out, I wasn’t convinced on the concept. How does it save time? I still have to cover my body in moisturiser & THEN wash it off too! So I held off picking up the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser until Ting from The Ting Thing recommended the Firming Q10 version to me.

I have to say, I’ve been impressed! While the ability to put your clothes on straight away after you’ve dried off isn’t something I’ve benefitted from. My usual routine is to get out of the shower, moisturise if I’m using a traditional moisturiser, put deodorant on. I would then clean my teeth & wash my face, while I wait for the moisturiser & deodorant to dry. Then I would get dressed. I can see the appeal if this isn’t typical of your routine though.

What I have really enjoyed are the little beads in the moisturiser. They aren’t harsh on my sensitive, eczema prone skin & there are just the right amount of them in the moisturiser for it to be used every day. As a result, I haven’t had to exfoliate my skin while I’ve been using this moisturiser, because it does it all in one!

My skin feels soft & the moisturisation lasts all day. Since using the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser, my skin hasn’t had any flaky patches to it. I put down the the firming beads & the quality of the moisturiser itself. My skin feels renewed & rejuvenated after using this moisturiser & I feel as though it’s helping my circulation, even if it’s only whilst I’m applying the moisturiser. This is a big thing for me as I struggle with my circulation!

It’s worth noting that if you’re going to shave, do so BEFORE using the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser. If you don’t the razor will take off the top layer of moisturiser. The razor will struggle to catch the hairs you’re trying to remove too. I should have realised this, after all, it’s not rocket science! But I just didn’t think so figured it would be worth mentioning so you don’t make the same silly mistake as me.

There’s also LOADS of product & you don’t need a lot, so at £5.25 for 250ml, it really is great value for money! You can pick this up from Boots, Superdrug & some supermarkets.

Have you tried the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser? What did you think of it?

  1. I’ve been using the one in the blue bottle (I guess it’s just the basic one) and I agree it’s really great! And not pricey at all. It’s so handy just doing everything in the shower and not having to mess with moisturiser afterwards.

  2. I tried a sample of the Jergen’s in shower body moisturizer and was not a fan. It left a weird milky residue on my skin :/ I would love to try this Nivea one now after hearing that it works great :) Thanks for the rec!

    • I’ve not tried Jergen’s, I’m allergic to some of the ingredients they use. Interesting to know that you didn’t get on with their version though. This one feels a little milky while you’re wet, but once you’ve dried off you don’t feel like that at all. Xx

  3. I love the Nivea In-Shower Moisturisers! They are so handy and you don’t have to hang around waiting for it to soak in before you get dressed either! x
