Salon Christmas Nail Polishes

OPI Fresh Frog Prince Of Bel Air

What could be more Christmassy than green & glitter!?! This polish, from the 2011 Muppets Holiday collection, looks lovely on its own or for a really festive look, paired onto of a red nail polish. Don’t want the stereotypical red & green? Try pairing with burgundy or a deep, dark purple!

OPI Muppets World Tour

Another polish from The Muppets Collection, this polish reminds me of snow – perfect for feeling festive! This polish looks beautiful alone, but can also be worn over another polish. Red & green are ideal if you want to be particularly festive, but any shade would work with this on top!

China Glaze Pure Joy

This polish was launched for in the Holiday Collection, 2012. I like to use on its own. To give more of a red colour, I use it on top of a red polish, such as Maybelline’s Deep Red, to really make the shade stand out as it takes a lot of coats to build up otherwise. This polish also looks good on top of a gold polish like the Barry M Nail Pain Foil Effects in 320.

Salon Christmas Nail Polishes

OPI Wonderous Star

From the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 Collection, this polish is another that works beautifully one its own or on top of another polish. I love that the glitter particles are so small so they don’t look over the top for the day time & they have little black particles too, which is unique!

China Glaze Winter Holly

Another polish from the Holiday Collection 2012, this polish is something very different. To build up an opacity in shade takes quite a few coats as the glitters are small. I like pairing this with a gold polish, like the Barry M mentioned above.

    • Aaww!!! Thanks Tamsin! I really wish nail polish lasted on me, I can’t seem to get anything to stay very well. Probably why I only make the effort at Christmas! Xx

    • I do have a soft spot for China Glaze! They seem to be one of the better lasting polish brands on me, though there are always exceptions. I love that salon polishes tend to be more unique than most of those you find in the drugstore. Xx
