3 Bronzers For Pale Skin Tones

So apparently, it’s summer here in the UK. I think someone missed that memo when creating our current weather! But what better way than to feign a beautiful summers day than with bronze!?! I thought I’d share three of my favourites 3 bronzers for pale skin tones across three different price points, so we can all feel summery together. What could be better!?!

3 Bronzers For Pale Skin

My cheapest bronzer pick is the Rimmel Sun Bronzer, £5.59. I have this in both Light Matte & Light Shimmer, but Light Matte is my favourite. This is the first bronzer I ever bought & is brilliant for pale skin. I have a full review of the Rimmel Sun Bronzer, so check that out if you want some more information & to see it applied.

My mid price range bronzer is the Soap & Glory Solar Power Bronzer, £11.00. I’ve heard so many great things about this bronzer, particularly from Vivianna Does Makeup, that I’m surprised I didn’t pick it up until last year! Because of the overspray, it took me a while to pluck up the courage to use. Now that I have I’m so pleased with it! The shade swirl together beautifully & give a lovely, natural sun kissed glow to the face. I have to say that of the three bronzers, this one has the softest texture of the lot. That may be because the other two are older though. I do plan on writing a full review of this at some point.

3 Bronzers For Pale Skin

My high end option is the Nars Laguna Bronzer, £28. This is the first high end bronzer I bought & I loved it from the word go. I really don’t know why I carried on trying other bronzers after buying this. I should’ve realised that, while others may be as good, nothing would ever beat it in terms of colour, quality or pigmentation! I’ve a post on the Nars Laguna Bronzer as a contour, including photos of me wearing it. I do intend to update this post to be a full review soon. It’s worth mentioning that I sold my full size Laguna bronzer, but only because almost every Nars palette seems to include it, so I have multiples that I knew I would never work my way through.

3 Bronzers For Pale Skin Swatches

Shade wise, these are all bronzers for pale skin tones, as the title would suggest. The Rimmel & Nars are most similar to one another, with an almost golden tone to them. The Soap & Glory Solar Power Bronzer has more red tones to it than the other two. All three suit my warm undertones well, so it’s personal preference as to which tones you feel most flattering to your skin tone. My favourite brush to apply all three bronzers is the Real Techniques Powder Brush.

  1. Speaking of fashion; you know what would be a good topic for one of your upcoming blog posts? Clothing for the disabled!

    • I have some fashion posts in mind, but unfortunately so far I’ve been prevented from taking the photos either by my health or the weather. I will be doing some as soon as I’m able. Xx

  2. Lovely bronzes, I like the look of the Soap and Glory one. My favourite 2 are by Bobbi Brown and Barry M, both suit my colouring.

    • I’ve been so impressed with the Soap & Glory bronzer. I tried a Bobbi Brown on when I was picking my wedding makeup, but they all seemed to come off too red toned on me. Maybe I should go back & try them again. Xx

  3. I really need to try the Nars Laguna as everyone raves about it and I don’t feel like a beauty blogger without it!! I used to use the Rimmel one years ago and its so good considering the price point! xx

    • You really do! It’s such great quality & a lovely shade for those of us with fairer skin. One of the things I love about it is that you don’t have to work hard for it to look natural. Xx

  4. This has reminded me about how much I like the S&G Solar power bronzer! On my skin tone, it’s actually very pale but perfect for a hint of colour on no-makeup days! I also love the Nars bronzer, I have the shade Casino though.

    • I’m so glad the Soap & Glory bronzer works on you too. It’s nice to have options that give different effects. I got Casino in a palette & was really impressed with it on my skin. Though it’s darker than Laguna, it’s also cooler so works nicely for me. Xx

    • The Soap & Glory bronzer is fantastic, I can’t believe I didn’t pick it up sooner! I don’t think I’ve tried the Too Faced Milk Chocolate, so will have to swatch it when I’m next in a store. An American friend sent me a Physician’s Formula bronzer. I can’t remember which one, but I was very impressed with it. It has a lovely natural glow to it. Xx

  5. As a fellow pale girl, I understand the struggle! I used Laguna for quite a while, but I get some pretty fantastic results from Hoola too. Rimmel is always a great choice for drugstore bronzers, they have the perfect shades. Great post! I will have to find that Soap and Glory one, it looks lovely!

    • The struggle is real! I’ve had mixed results from Hoola. The first one I bought was too brown for me. I just looked muddy. I bought one with my name on & it was cooler in tone & I get on with it much better! I’m not sure if Benefit have changed the colour over the years. Xx
