Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows Kit Review

Brow products were one of the last items of makeup that I got into. I’ve been experimenting with different brow products, trying to find the perfect shade and formula for me. I’ve had such fun trying different brow products and learning what I like and what suits me. So I’m excited to have a review of the Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows Kit* to share with you!

The Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows Kit is a 4-in-1 product, containing a brow pencil, taming wax, brow brush and pencil sharpener. Dual ended nature of the pencil and wax, along with the brush and sharpener being included in the caps. This makes it perfect for travelling!

The biggest difficulty I find with brow products, particularly affordable options, is that they tend to be too warm toned for my liking. The tails of my brows are pretty sparse, so if the colour isn’t quite right it really shows. Thankfully there are great cool toned options out there, even if they take a little hunting for. The Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows Kit claims to be a universal shade, suitable for all. Honestly, I’m always wary of claims like this. I don’t know how anything that has a colour to it can be a universal shade. Saying this, I absolutely loved the colour of the Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows Kit. It’s the perfect match for my brows, which really excited me!

Applying the Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows pencil was easy. The consistency is soft, so you don’t need to press hard. Great for me, as I struggle with pain and hypermobility in my hands as a result of my EDS. As a comparison, the Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows pencil was noticeably softer than the Soap & Glory Brow Archery. I really love the brow colour element of this product!

I was less impressed with the taming wax. Initially, I applied a little too much and ended up with a grey cast to my brow hairs. Using a less product helped this, but I noticed that my wayward brow hairs weren’t keep in place as a result. Both the pencil and taming wax contain 0.5g of product.

I really like that the Know Cosmetics No Bare Brows Kit comes with clear caps, as well as the brush and sharpener caps. This way, if you don’t want to use the brush and sharpener, you don’t have to.
