In terms of makeup, my brows were one of the last things I started experimenting with. I really wish I’d started sooner, as my brows are barely existent in my wedding photos, despite having them tinted. Getting ready for my wedding was the time I started thinking about my brows and in the past 5 years, I’ve experimented a lot to try to get my brows just how I want them. A product I’ve been loving is the Soap & Glory Brow Archery, so I thought I’d share my thoughts with you in a review!
My brows are sparse, so I not only need something that will fill them in, but I also need a shade that looks natural in the tail of my brows, where I don’t have many hairs. As a result, the shade of my brow products is really important to me. I often find that brow products pull too warm for the sparse tail of my brows, but the Soap & Glory Brow Archery in Brownie Points is a good colour match for me. Ideally I would like the shade just a touch cooler, but that’s me being really picky.
I’m a big fan of brow pencils, as they’re quick and easy to use. They also don’t take up much room in your makeup bag. When picking a brow pencil, I much prefer a twist up, wax formula to a traditional pencil that needs to be sharpened. I find wax easier to apply.
The Soap & Glory Brow Archery, Tint And Pencil was the original brow product from the brand. I like the pencil. It’s easy to apply and stays on well. My only complaint is that the tip is thicker than I would like. This is fine for filling in the front and most of the tail of my brows. However, when I get to the end of the tail, I can’t create a crisp point. The tint part of the The Soap & Glory Brow Archery is great for creating a crips point, but it dries out quickly. I’ve had this product for a few years now and I’d say that the tint was past it’s best after the first 6 months.
There are now other options in the The Soap & Glory Brow Archery range, including the 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush. As the only two things I’m not keen on about the Tint and Pencil are that the pencil is too thick and the tint dries out quickly, I think the Brow Filling Pencil would be a great alternative for me. It would also mean that I don’t have to use a separate brush which would be really convenient.
Overall, I think the The Soap & Glory Brow Archery, Tint And Pencil is a fantastic product, particularly for just £8! There are three shades available in the tint and pencil, which seems to be the standard number of shades for most brands.
You can buy the The Soap & Glory Brow Archery, Tint And Pencil from boots.com. It usually costs £10, but is currently £8.

Update: I’ve since found that the tint side is great for creating depth. One of my eyebrows is lower than the other, so I have to even this out with a pencil. While The Soap & Glory Brow Archery, Tint And Pencil is a good colour match for my brows, the pencil on it’s own in this bald spot isn’t quite enough to look natural. Adding in the tint to this spot adds a different tone and helps to make it look like I have hair where I don’t.

Definitely check Soap & Glory’s brow products out. I’ve been so impressed! I’m really glad that they’ve extended their range too, Xx
I haven’t tried the soap and glory brow products but I discovered the Benefit Gimme Brow in 2016 and love that xx

I’ve been really impressed. I love that Soap & Glory have expanded their range too. My sister uses the Benefit Gimme Brow too and swears by it, but it’s not something I can try unfortunately, because it contains citric acid. I’m hoping to check out some of Benefit’s other brow products though, once I have a little spare money. Xx
I’ve been trying to get into brow products, and this one sounds lovely! Definitely going to look into it further! x

It really is! Very simple and easy to use. Though I’d recommend getting the version with the spoolie on the end rather than the tint. Xx
The tint looks a bit intimidating to use but the pencil part looks great! It’s also such a great price :) I’ll have to see if I can find it in my color :)

It’s really not, especially once it’s dried out a bit. I’d definitely try the version with the spoolie though, it looks like it would be more useful than the tint. I really hope you can find a good colour for you! Xx
Great review, I think I might get this one when my current one runs out. I have the same sparse eyebrows and the colour looks perfect.

Thanks! I’m so glad it was helpful. I’ve been really impressed with this one and would highly recommend checking out the range to find the right application option for you. Let me know how you get on if you do try it. Xx
I can’t believe this is only £8 – I used to pay £18 I think for the ABH one! xxx
I know! It’s great value. Though I’ve heard so much about the ABH brow products that I definitely want to try them at some point. Xx
I really enjoyed this product and it lasted longer then I expecting but the end did break a few times! <3

Such a shame that it broke! That’s disappointing. Xx
