Meet Eco Fluffy Mama

Can you believe that it’s the end of August!?! END OF AUGUST!?! We’re more than half way through the year. That’s mind blowing. The end of August means it’s time for me to introduce you to my advertiser; so meet Eco Fluffy Mama! This is the second time Tamsin has advertised with me. You can check out more about her in my April Advertiser post.

Meet Eco Fluffy Mama

Tamsin from Eco Fluffy Mama

Primarily a menstrual activist blog, Tamsin has a wealth of knowledge about all things related to feminine health. As well as covering important topics related to menstrual health, Tamsin has fantastic reviews of reusable menstrual products, such as reusable pads & menstrual cups. I think it’s fantastic that there are now more environmentally friendly options available & Tamsin’s blog has all the information you need to choose the perfect option for you.

Along with her menstrual activism, Tamsin has recently begun sharing reviews & information on other reusable products. One such post is a review of Zero Waste Reusable Drinks Bottles. I’ve used a reusable drinks bottle for many years & wouldn’t be without one. But this post highlighted to me just how many people still buy bottles of drink only to throw them away (or at best recycle them, taking many years to fully disintegrate). Doing this costs not only the environment, but also the individual financially, so it was great to read a post identifying the problems & highlighting a solution. Because we only have one chance to protect our environment.

Tamsin has also begun writing chronic illness posts on her blog. In her It’s Been A While post, Tamsin discusses the difficulties she has faced in getting the right care as someone with a rare condition. The difficulties Tamsin is still facing are not dissimilar to some of the problems I had when trying to get my Ehlers-Dalos syndrome & basilar type migraine diagnosis. It breaks my heart that more is not being done to support people with chronic illness, but I’m glad that people like Tamsin are using their voices to raise awareness & support others living with chronic illness.

  1. Love posts like these, it’s fun getting introduced to new bloggers! Will be sure to check her out. :) I have a re-usable water bottle myself and couldn’t be without one – buying them constantly just seems so unnecessary! Thanks for sharing, hun. <3

  2. It’s great to share such posts because we get to “meet” a new blogger :) I will definitely navigate to Tamsin’s page. I support the importance of raising awareness regarding how much waste we produce every single day. I have a reusable bottle myself and if I carry a drink with me – that’s usually my bottle filled with whatever I choose to pour into it that morning :)

    • I completely agree! I love writing posts like this for the same reason. The amount of waste we produce is overlooked by so many, yet the convenience of throw away products is so little in comparison to the benefits of using reusable products & sometimes they’re even better than their disposable counterparts. Xx
