Preparing To Receive Test Results | #SpoonieSpeak

Preparing to receive test results can be difficult when you have a chronic illness. There are so many emotions that we experience. The uncertainty of not knowing if or what will be found. The worry that if test results are normal you’ll be accused of ‘making it up’, particularly if this is something you’ve experienced before. The inspiration for this topic came when I got such an overwhelming response from the tweet below. I realised that I wasn’t alone and felt that preparing to receive test results was a topic worth discussing with the #SpoonieSpeak community.
