I’ve always rather liked the preppy look. I’ve recently started watching Pretty Little Liars and Spencer’s wardrobe really speaks to me! I like the mix of smart and casual in the preppy look. So today, I thought I would share a little bit of my pretty style with you in the form of my Red Herring preppy fox jumper.
I bought my preppy fox jumper quite a while ago and it’s been worn a lot! Here, I’ve styled it with leggings, a black textured skirt from Primark, and my tan boots from New Look. This used to be one of my go-to work outfits for my peripatetic instrumental teaching because it’s smart, comfortable and easy to move in. When I was teaching, I’d also throw a black jumper over the top, for an extra layer. It could get very cold walking between schools and to and from train stations, but the schools I taught in were always well heated so I needed layers.
Not keen on a smarter look? This preppy fox jumper looks great with jeans/jeggings, for a more casual option. I’ve worn this version of my preppy fox jumper over several Christmases and it’s always gone down well with friends and family.
My local Debenhams is small and I don’t often buy clothes from from them. I find Debenhams to be quite expensive, compared to say New Look or H&M. When I do buy clothes from Debenhams, it’s usually from their Red Herring range. I find the price point to be more affordable than most of Debenhams’ other lines and I feel it’s more my style. Saying this, Debenhams are now the only place I can buy Dorothy Perkins clothing as my local store closed down.
