If you’ve read any of my mascara review posts, you’ll be well aware that while my lashes are long, they’re also very straight! This means I HAVE to to curl my eyelashes. I’ve bought a few different eyelash curlers in my time, but it was the No7 Eyelash Curler that really changed my makeup game &, with the right mascara, have helped me get the lashes I’ve always want.
This eyelash curler is light & easy for me to hold, something I can struggle wit because of my EDS. The mechanism is easy to use & there is no resistance. I like the shape of the ‘clamp’ part of eyelash curler as it fits the shape of my eyes beautifully. The full name is No7 Lift & Curl Eyelash Curler & it certainly lives up to this name! It’s worth noting that I picked up the Boots Eyelash Curler before replacing these as I thought that being made by the same people they would be the same quality. I found the Boots version very frustrating to use (I think because of the shape of the ‘clamp’, so went back to repurchase the No7 Lift & Curl Eyelash Curler.
I’ve read a few different ways to curl your eyelashes, so I’ve amalgamated them all to come up with my own routine! I start off holding my eyelashes in the curler for 5 seconds close to the lash line. I then squeeze 4 times, moving the curler further away from the lash line each time. One thing that’s important to do is to only curl your eyelashes before putting mascara on, not after as this can damage the lashes. The Eyelash Curler comes with two spare pads so (as long you don’t loose them) you can prolong the life of your curlers significantly. I’m on my second pair & would continue to repurchase them. I’ve considered trying the Shu Uemera eyelash curler, but I can’t imagine them being twice as good, so just can’t justify the £20 price tag.
The No7 Eyelash Curler cost £8 (I think it used to be more expensive than this) & can be bought in store & from Boots.com. Keep your eyes peeled for the £3 off vouchers if you want to try these, as you’ll be able to pick them up for just £5!

I have tried so many eyelash curlers, I have bought some from super drug and I cannot stand them they are so stiff and don’t really do much to my lashes. My favourite ones are some cheap ones from Primark, I have short, straight and stumpy lashes to I have to curl my lashes otherwise it’ll look like I don’t have any haha! I almost bought these curlers the other day but for some reason I didn’t, definitely will next time I’m in boots! -xo

I’ll make sure to stay away from Superdrug’s eyelash curlers! I’d highly recommend these ones, but make sure you pick up the No7 ones, not just the standard Boots brand. Xx
I use this too and this is the first one I actually got along with, I am so lazy in the morning though I usually forget to do it :( xxx

The only eyelash curler I’ve ever used was a cheap thing from Semi Chem and I quickly stopped using it after I read about someone’s eyelash curler snapping their eyelashes off. My eyelashes are usually ok but they could do with some extra oomph from time to time so I’m making my way to the Boots website right after I finish writing this comment!
