If you’ve seen my review of the Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eye Foils, you’ll know just how much I love the shade Rose Gold! Today, I thought I would share with you a rose gold eye look using this shadow.

I started the look by concealing my under eye circles with the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. I have a review on this if you want to know my thoughts. I set my concealer with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. Next I primed my eyes with the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, which I’ve also written a review on. I only place the Paint Pot on my lid & into the crease, but not onto my brow bone. I’ve found this works best for me because the shade Soft Ochre is quite a yellow one. Soft Ochre doesn’t look right on me all the way up to the brow bone, which you can see in the photos in my review post.

Once my Paint Pot had dried, I took the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette & applied the shade Strange on brow bone & down onto my crease. For this, I used my Sigma E25 blending brush. Putting my brow bone shade down into my crease helps the crease colours blend out better. Then I took Limit into the entire crease with a MAC 217 brush. On top of that, I used Nooner on the same brush in the outer half of crease. The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is perfect for a rose gold eye look.

Next, I applied the Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eye Foil in Rose Gold to my lid with my finger. I haven’t used the primer that comes with this before & I really don’t feel I need to. I took Factory into my outer V with the MAC 217 brush. With an elf small smudge brush, I took Factory under my lower lash line. For the inner corner of eye I used my GOSH Velvet Touch eyeliner in a white. Unfortunately, you can’t get this shade anymore. I added a winged line with my Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner.

I finished my eyes with two coats of mascara, starting by curling my eyelashes with the No7 Eyelash Curler. For my top lashes, I used the Rituals Volumizing mascara. I got this free with a magazine, but I can’t find where to buy it so haven’t written a review. On my bottom lashes I used the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. I don’t like the UD mascara for my top lashes because I always get product on my lid when I apply. You can read more about that in my review of the product.

For my face, I used the MAC MSF Natural in Light Plus as my base. This is my go-to base as I’m very lucky not to need a lot of coverage. I like having just a little help evening out my skin tone & the MAC MSF Natural does the job perfectly. I used the Rimmel Sun Bronzer in Light Matte to give some colour to my face, which I have a review on. I topped this with the MAC blusher in Well Dressed. The highlighter I chose for this look was the MAC MSF in Porcelain Pink, which is a limited edition product.
I used the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Taupe to fill in my brows. I set this in place with the Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Brown. I have a Maybelline vs Rimmel post comparing the two brow gels.

As I paired pink cheeks with my rose gold eye look, I decided to go for a nude lip. I’m very happy with how the combination turned out. I lined my lips with the No.7 lip liner in Nude but didn’t fill them in. I used the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Notting Hill Nude, topped with the Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Naked.

I love it too! Thank you so much, I was really pleased with how the nude lip compliments the eyes. Xx
Ohh, I absolutely adore these kinds of rose gold looks! Totally drooling over that Naked 3 palette, too, it’s been on my wishlist for absolute years now, but I’ve yet to get my hands on it. The shades are right up my alley, though. Loving the finished look, hun, you look absolutely gorgeous, and congrats on being shortlisted in the blogger awards, hope you win. x x x

For about 6 months, I just couldn’t get the Naked 3 palette to work on me. Creating an eye look was fine, but I struggled to find the right combinations to go on my cheeks & lips without clashing. I’m so glad I persevered, because it’s a beautiful palette & with the right shades to compliment it, looks stunning! Thank you so much, I’m very excited about The Blogger Awards! Xx
Oh this is beautiful! It makes me want to bust out my Naked 3 Palette, which I haven’t touched in a while, haha. I love rose gold stuff!

Yay! Go for it. The Naked 3 palette is fab. I struggled with it for the first 6 months, but once I found lip & cheek shades that complimented it I was in love! Xx
You look STUNNING, Tania! So beautiful <3 Such a lovely makeup look. Girlie, I need you to do my makeup everyday! So in love with the Naked palette. I am yet to get my hands on one. Not sure why it has taken me ages to cave in and splurge a little ;)

Aww!!! Thank you so much! I’d happily do your makeup every day. I love all three of my Naked palettes. They’re great quality & so versatile. Thank you for the vote! Xx
I love the look of the foiled eyeshadow! I’m loving rose gold tones on the eyes more and more lately :) I think my favourite would have to be the Lorac Unzipped <3

Me too! Particularly how they bring my eyes out from behind my glasses. I’ve been trying to pan a pink blusher, so I haven;t been wearing rose gold tones on my eyes as much, but it’s definitely one of my favourite looks. I love the look of the Lorac palettes, but they contain citric acid, which causes my eczema so I can’t use them, which makes me sad. Xx
This is such a pretty look, love it xx

Definitely! Though I’ve has my eye on the Maybelline The Nudes Blushed palette recently. I know it’s really similar to the Naked 3, but there are two lovely green shades! I MUST remind myself that I already have a pink palette & that I don’t wear greens because they never compliment the shade of my glasses. Xx
I love this eye look! Looks really good on you! And the naked 3 palette is also my favourite palette to use for a look like this! I also really like the maybelline color tattoos for a base on the eyes.

Thank you so much! The Maybelline Colour Tattoos are fantastic, they’re one of the few cream products that last on my eyes. Xx
This is such a gorgeous look, it’s so natural and dewy!! I’ll definitely try to recreate it :) x
