2018 Project Pan Update 3

Wow! How are we 3/4 of the way through the year!? And how is Elise already 6 months old!? With just 3 months left of the year, it’s time to let you all know how I’m getting on with using up my products, in my 2018 project pan update 3!

2018 Project Pan, 2018 project pan update 1, 2018 Project Pan Update 2, 2018 project pan update 3,

Check out my Introduction, Update 1, and Update 2 if you haven’t already.

2018 Project Pan Update 3: Superdrug Emoji Lip Balm* – Hit pan 23/8/18

Since adding lip balms into my project pans, I’ve been taking note of how long it takes to finish them up. It’s amazed me how quickly I get through them! I’m really enjoying using this watermelon balm and I’d love to have it finished by the end of the year, something I think should be achievable.

2018 Project Pan Update 3: Nivea Soft Hand Cream – Finished 8/9/18

I really struggle to use hand cream. I don’t know what it is, I just never remember to put some on. Despite this, even with only occasional use, I’ve managed to finish this tube up. Success! Yay for project panning.

I got this hand cream from Poundland, as I didn’t want to spend a lot when I wasn’t sure I’d actually use it – hence the £1 price in my total for the products I’ve finished up.

I don’t own any more hand creams! I thought I’d use my The Fay Farm Serenity Lotion on my hands, but I just haven’t reached for it in this way. I feel like I should add something else to take the place of my Nivea hand cream, but I’m not sure what yet…

2018 Project Pan Update 3: The Fay Farm Serenity Lotion – Started 17/8/18, Finished 29/9/18

If you’ve read my The Fay Farm Serenity Lotion Review, you’ll know that it’s not cheap and didn’t do much for my pain levels. However, I’d hate to see it go to waste, so I’ve decided to use it in place of a standard moisturiser. I finished this up this morning, which surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to be gone in just over a month. The past few days, I’ve had the bottle propped upside down to try and get as much of the lotion out as possible. All of my body moisturisers are now used up, leaving me with just my aqueous cream.

2018 Project Pan Update 3: DHC mascara*

My DHC mascara is still going strong. I’ve been trying to use it up on my bottom lashes. If it hasn’t been finished by the end of the year, I’ll be throwing it away for hygiene reasons.

2018 Project Pan Update 3: L’Oreal Skin Perfection

Honestly? I’d completely forgotten that this product was in my project pan or that I even own it! This is really bad of me and silly, because at the moment, I’m not wearing face makeup. So it would really make sense to be using this to even out my skin a little. I’m going to make a concerted effort to use this over the coming months. Hopefully I’ll finish it up.

2018 Project Pan Update 3: Barbara Daly Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown and the Soap & Glory Brow Archery

I was making good progress with my Barbara Daly Eyebrow Pencil, but have managed to loose it. The last time I had it was when I was visiting my parents. I need to stop taking my project pan items down to Essex – I’ve lost a project pan item on both trips we’ve made down there this year! As a result, I’ve decided to add a list of ‘things I’ve lost’ to go along with my ’products I’ve finished’.

2018 Project Pan Update 3

I’m soooooo close to finishing my Soap & Glory Brow Archery. I don’t think that there’s more than a couple of uses left in it. So I’ll easily have it finished by the next update and will start working on another brow product, though I haven’t decided which one yet. If you want to know my thoughts on this product, check out my Soap & Glory Brow Archery Tint And Pencil Review.

2018 Project Pan Update 3: Lansinoh HPA Lanolin – Finished 29/7/18

The Lansinoh HPA Lanolin balm was a purchase that I only needed to use for it’s intended purpose for a few weeks. I didn’t want it to go to waste, so started using it on my heels, as they’d gotten quite unsightly. It worked brilliantly and I’m considering buying another, once I’ve used up some other balms (like my Dr. PawPaw Peach/Pink Balm).

2018 Project Pan Update 3: The Body Shop Perfume Oil in Pink Fruit Punch

I’ve been a bit hit and miss with using this perfume oil, so haven’t made  as much progress as I’d like. I just can’t seem to remember to apply it daily. I’d really like to finish it up by the end of this year, so am going to try and use it more consistently in the coming months.
