Project 10 Pan Finale

2016 has flown by. Despite this, I’ve made some good progress on my project 10 pan items. Particularly as I’ve gone for weeks at a time without wearing any makeup at all. Today it’s time for my project 10 pan finale, to show you how well I’ve done using 10 products up in 2016. Where it makes sense to, I’ve included photos from the start of the project and the last update, so you can see the progress I’ve made over the year. Rimmel Cream Blusher

I have to admit that I’ve been reaching for other blushes these past three months. I fancied a change and seeing as I reached my target of hitting pan in the first three months of my project, I felt it was ok to use some of my other blushes. I’ve made a little bit of progress with this blusher, but not much since my last update.

MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot

You can probably see that there’s a hole in my MAC Paint Pot. I really wanted to know how far away from hitting pan I was, so I decided to stick a pin in to see. I have to say, I’m still so far away from seeing that illusive pan. This hasn’t been helped by only being able to use this product in the colder months. I’m still glad that I’ve made progress on this Paint Pot, even if I haven’t reached my goal. If you want to know more about this product, check out my MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot review.

GOSH Velvet Eyeliner in White

I’ve used up as much of this as I’m going to manage. It’s got to the point where I struggle to get the cap off the eyeliner, because there is so little pencil left. It’s also almost impossible to sharpen for the same reason. I’m really pleased to have finished this pencil up, though I’m sad that I can’t replace it as the colour is no longer available.

Urban Decay Eyeliner in Corrupt

I’ve done ok with this pencil, but not as well as I would have liked. I’ve fallen head over heels in love with my Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner and that’s what I’ve been reaching for. Though I’m not particularly pleased with the progress I’ve made on this pencil in the last 3 moths, I did add it into my project part way through. I’ve also used up two other eyeliners in this project, so overall I’ve done well with eyeliners!

Rimmel Sun Bronzer in Light Matte

I’ve hit pan! I wish I’d put this as my goal in my last project because then I’d have another item added to my used up list. Oh well, we live and learn. I’m really impressed that I’ve managed to hit pan on this product. I’m going to put it away for now so that I can enjoy some of my other bronzers and then work on finishing it up at a later date.

The Body Shop Perfume Oil in Dewberry

I’ve managed to use more than half of my The Body Shop perfume up! This was my goal. As I put this perfume into my project part way into the year, I’m rather impressed with this progress.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I’m finding my Nars concealer a frustrating product to have in a project pan, because there really is no way to tell how much progress I’ve made. I’m glad that I’ve concentrated on using it up before it goes bad. But how well I’ve done this, I really couldn’t say. I’m going to continue to concentrate on using this concealer up, but won’t be including it in next year’s project pan. Lipglam lip balm

When I added this lip balm into my project, I had more than half a tube. I didn’t expect to be able to finish it up this year, but I have! I find my lips need a lot of tlc during the colder months, so this would explain how I’ve managed to make so much progress in the past three months. Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Concentrated Hand Cream

At my last update, I’d barely used my Neutrogena Hand Cream. You certainly couldn’t see any obvious progress. I’ve made some great process these past three months, because my hands have been so dry. I’m now at the top line of the black band with ‘Neutrogena’ on it. 

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

I haven’t finished up my Urban Decay Perversion mascara, but I’ve used it solidly on my bottom lashes for a year and it’s now time to throw it away. I’ve included the price in my total used up for the year, because I don’t feel I’ve wasted any product. I don’t like this mascara for my upper lashes, so have only been able to use it on my lower set. Urban Decay Mini Lipgloss in Naked

This lipgloss has been really hard to use up. With so little left, I thought it was going to be simple. Unfortunately, it has to be kept upright before use, otherwise it’s impossible to get product out. So I’ve not been able to throw it in my bag. It’s rather annoying to have to put one lipgloss on when you leave the house and pack another. It also make it much harder to use the remainder up.

Total of products used up:

1. The price of the Lotil Original Cream costs £1.85 for 30ml

2. The Dr PawPaw Balm costs £6.95 for 25ml. This works out at £2.78.

3. Tom Ford Brow Perfector costs £35

4. Maybelline Brow Drama costs £4.99

5. Urban Decay Zero eyeliner costs £15.50 for 1.2g. This works out as £10.34 for my 0.8g

6. Benefit Stay Don’t Stray costs £20.50

7. Rimmel Cream Blusher – hit pan (goal)

8. Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold – hit pan (goal)

9. The Body Shop Perfume Oil in Dewberry – more than half finished (goal)

10. GOSH Velvet Eyeliner in White costs £5.49

11. Urban Decay Perversion Mascara costs £17.50 for 12ml. This works out as £4.37 for my 3ml.

Total used from my project 10 pan in 2016, £64.72.

I’m really pleased with how well I’ve done with this project pan. Particularly as sometimes I go weeks without wearing makeup. I’m particularly pleased to have used up two brow products, two eyeliners and two lip balms! I’ve been picking another 10 products to work on for 2017, so check back next week to find out what they are!
