It’s the half way point in my project pan, so time for my Project 10 Pan Update 2 to show you the progress I’ve been making! If you want to see my previous progress, you can check out my Introduction & Update 1 posts.

Rimmel Cream Blusher
I’m pleased with the progress I’ve made with this blusher. I know I won’t be able to finish it entirely before the end of the year, but I’m determined to make as much progress as I can. I’m going to aim to have finished 1/2 up by the end of my project.

MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ocre
As we’re now in summer & the MAC Paint Pots tend to crease on me in the warmer weather, I’ve decided to put this product on hold & start working through another eye base product. I’ve chosen the Benefit Stay Don’t Stray for this. You can check out my review of the MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot if you want to know my thoughts on it.

Benefit Stay Don’t Stray
I initially started working on the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold, in place of my MAC Paint Pot. I actually managed to make some good progress on in the short time I used it. When I pulled the Benefit Stay Don’t Stray out to use as a base for my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, I noticed that the consistency has changed. It’s thicker & doesn’t apply as evenly, so I’d like to use as much as I can before it becomes unusable.
I’m going to work on the Benefit Stay Don’t Stray until it’s finished/too bad to use. As a result, my MAC Paint Pot may not find it’s way back into this project come the Autumn!
Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Taupe – Finished
You can check out my Tom Ford Brow Sculptor Review if you want to know my thoughts on this. I’m going to be replacing this with my GOSH white eye liner, I use this in the inner corner of my eyes & have had it for many years. It may look nearly finished, but it’s taking a while to make progress only using as an inner eye highlight. I put it in my Finish 15 In 2015 project pan, but misplaced the pencil before the end of the project, so it didn’t get finished.

Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara in Dark Brown – Finished
You can find my thoughts on this in my Maybelline Vs. Rimmel Brow Gel post. As I’ve finished the Brow Drama, I’m adding the Rimmel Sun Bronzer in Light Matte to my project. If you want to know more about this, check out my review. I’d like to completely finish this product, so will be using it as both a bronzer & contour to really see some progress on it.

Urban Decay Zero Eyeliner – Finished
The main reason I finished this eyeliner was because I used it for my tiger costume for my sister’s hen do. I covered my arms & legs in tiger stripes with the pencil, so you can imagine the amount of liner that used! I ended up having to purchase another black eyeliner en route to be able to finish my makeup, which annoyed me as it means I haven’t reduced the number of eyeliners I own. As I have other Urban Decay Zero liners from various palettes, I would have preferred to have used one of those, but I didn’t think to the a spare with me. Check out my Tiger makeup Tutorial if you want to see it in full. I’m going to be replacing the zero eyeliner with my Urban Decay eyeliner in Corrupt.

The Body Shop Perfume Oil in Dewberry
I’m pretty happy with my progress on this. I think it’s obvious that this is not a product that will be finished before the end of the year, as you only use a little at a time. I’d like to continue to work through it & will be aiming to have finished 1/2 the bottle by the end of the year.

Lipglam lip balm
I’ve not made as much progress as I would have liked on this product, mainly because I keep forgetting to use it. I know I’ll get a lot more use out of it in the winter & my sore lips will remind me to use it, but I’m still a little disappointed that I haven’t done better with it. You can find out my thoughts on this product in my Lipglam review post.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Concentrated Hand Cream
I haven’t made much progress on this because I keep forgetting to use it. I do need to make a conscious effort with my memory! I may take it out of my bag & put it on my bedside table to try & remind myself to use it.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
I’ve done ok with this concealer. I’ve not made quite as much progress as I did in the first three months, which surprised me because I made some good progress in April & May. If you want to know more about this concealer, check out my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer Review.

I’ve decided to put this concealer back in my collection. I used my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer recently & the consistency isn’t the same as when I bought it. It seem thicker so I feel like I should make an effort to finish this one before it goes bad, especially as it’s a lot more expensive than the Maybelline! I’m really annoyed with myself that I have two products that have changed in consistency. I don’t quite know how to mark my progress with the Nars concealer. There doesn’t seem to be a way to see how well I’m doing.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
This is still going strong. I can see it still having product left by the end of the year, because that’s happened before. At the end of the year I’ll throw it out as I don’t want to have a mascara open for more than a year. I use this only on my bottom lash line as it always gets on my eyelid when I’m applying it. I just don’t think I get on well with the shape of the brush. If you want to know more, head to my Urban Decay Perversion Mascara review.

I thought I’d only been working on 9 products & not 10, so to fix this I decided to add in my Urban Decay mini lipgloss in Naked. This was in my project pan alongside the GOSH eyeliner, but it didn’t get finished up. It turns out that I’d just forgotten about the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. Because there are some products I know I won’t finish this year, I thought it would be a good idea to keep the Urban Decay Lipgloss in this project. Especially as I’d like to use some lip products up. I don’t have a lot left, but I think this is a good product to be working. As I’m only wearing makeup once a week (if that!), I stand a chance of finishing it in the remaining 6 months of the project.

Total of products used up:
1. The price of the Lotil Original Cream costs £1.85 for 30ml
2. The Dr PawPaw Balm costs £6.95 for 25ml. This works out at £2.78.
3. Tom Ford Brow Perfector costs £35
4. Maybelling Brow Drama costs £4.99
5. Urban Decay Zero eyeliner costs £15.50 for 1.2g. This works out as £10.34 for my 0.8g
Total used so far, £54.96.
I’m really pleased to have finished up 5 products in 6 months. This gives me hope that I’ll be able to finish a full 10 in a year!

Great Job! Looks like you are making your way through your stash pretty nicely! Tal xo
Thanks Tal! I’m really pleased with how I’m doing over all. I’d really like to make a significant dent in my lip products, but I don’t think that’s particularly likely with how little I’m wearing makeup at the moment. Definitely a consideration for future projects though. Xx
